keeping true to Nyx and Snow's personalities/designs
(besides Nyx's sharp teeth, but tbh I love that a lot),

The amount of detail and intensity of possessed!Zora &
Slenderman is absolutely enrapturing! It truly embodies the
atmosphere OOF is planned to have with Zo's portion of the story!
I love the intricate hints of cracked glass (like how the main cover has it)
and the use of OOF's symbol is
 Italian Chef Kiss

Hello, my lovely murder!

So OOF two-year anniversary is here...
Wow! Just wow!! I don't know what to say!

It feels like just yesterday I assured myself
I'll make the series. Now we're 60+ pages in, 2 volumes
done, with more to come in the future!

Out Of Focus, or OOF, is a Slenderverse web comic by yours truly.
It features two stories that eventually weave into one big timeline!
This comic has a large cast of characters that you'll either
love to hate, hate to love, or love to love.
Everyone has their moment to shine!

REQUIRMENTS


  • YOU HAVE TO BE A WATCHER OF MINE! New watchers are welcome.
  • You must be interested in Out Of Focus, and have completed all of the current volumes.
  • 2 entries are allowed per person, no artist collaborations.
  • You have to upload your entries to Deviantart OR Instagram, tag me in the description (thescarletcrow on Da + Insta, or outoffocuscomic_official on Insta), and have a link to this contest journal & OOF's cover page.
  • Entries must be your own work.
    • Art must be NEW, COMPLETELY ILLUSTRATED, AND AT LEAST BUST SHOT.
  • Don't include OCs in your entries (hints of them are fine though). Anyone from OOF's cast, and Slenderman, are the only exceptions!
  • Have a Paypal :) (Smile)

CAN'S


 For FANFICTION entries, you can write:
  • A scene you anticipate in OOF's comic
  • An interaction you imagine between two OOF characters of your choice
    • This can involve a ship (Blacksheep, LionHeart, Rol), battle, etc
  • A blooper between the official scenes of OOF
  • A monologue
  • A poem or song lyrics

  For ART entries, you can make:
  • Digital art
  • Traditional art *has to be well-photographed/scanned
  • Photomanipulation
  • A comic strip *has to be accurate to the characters*
  • Animation, animation MEME
  • Cosplay

  You're allowed to portray:
  • Any level of gore
  • Character violence
  • Dark topics, as long as they are addressed appropriately

Note: For those who want to work with Nyx in particular, you are allowed to portray them in their human form, if you'd like.

CANNOT'S



  Your entries cannot feature:
  • NSFW or fetish content, ship fluff is okay though
  • Incestuous content (OOF features the Moroz and Hertz family, just a precaution)
  • Anything gross with Slenderman
  • Hate work
  • Bases/traces

Dav-Ink is alive...but

So there has been a recent revelation
about the assumed "dead" Creepypasta/Slenderverse
creator known as @/Dav-Ink 

Many of you probably recognize the username,
because of the Slenderman proxy OC: Hoaxton.

Pretty popular character, couldn't really
miss 'im back in 2015 and so forth.

We've all mourned for Jas around early January this year.
I've also mourned, even lit a candle in tribute.

Hundreds, probably even thousands,
have been lied to for months.

No.
Years.

People have been lied to for years.
We have been lied to for years.

This is absolutely disgusting, enraging, confusing,
every negative feeling in the book.

Shit happens. Life is like that.

I'd hate to admit it...but I'm happy to hear the harsh truth.
I'd rather know it than be lied to
for God knows how long.
